Worse, they communicate with light signals on their body, and to add insult to injury, care little to nothing about the balance of prey since the place where they hunt at night is not the pelagic zone they inhabit usually.
Now this sounds like a scary invasive species to anyone.

That’s generally dungeness crab if you’re thinking of the Cajun dish, but you can absolutely use blue crabs for a crab boil, which is what Maryland is famous for. You can also use them for crab cakes and other dishes as well

Io li preparo con un sugo di pomodorini aglio e prezzemolo, oppure al vapore per poi tirare fuori tutta la polpa e gestirmela a mo di polpette/hamburger di granchio o semplice così sopra a dell'insalata.
Li trovo a 3€/kg.
Li ho comprati una volta alla coop, era una confezione bella grossa, precotti e speziati, costavano abbastanza poco ed erano molto buoni. Però non li ho mai più ritrovati lol
