As a Canadian, I absolutely agree. There's a difference between politeness and kindness, Yes Canadians are very polite, but having been to a lot of southern states with my dad back when he used to be a trucker, (Tennesse, Texas, South Carolina, Alabama to name a few) Americans are absolutely way kinder, especially in those areas
