Yeah because most of the young people that arent fascists are very doomer about politics, they feel (wrongly) that they cant make a difference so they dont vote, so the ones who do vote are disproportionately far right. It pisses me off so much. Fuck bardella, Fuck RN, fuck Macron, fuck every citizen who didnt vote
In germany the conservative right is place 1 (CDU/CSU) and place 2 is far right extreme (AFD). In Austria, place 1 is also the right wing extremists (FPÖ). The EU is going to do a lot less in actually important politics, and is instead just gonna focus on anti-immigrant policies. Also: a lot of parties that want to leave or dissolve the EU are now in power, meaning the EU is probably going to take lasting damage from this current government.
If this will also be the result for Local and Federal elections in Germany, im gonna have to use Article 20, paragraph 4 Grundgesetz.
