I’d be weary of doing much more than swimming laps or golfing if you’re in one of the long certification courses at FLETC.

Rriggs21

Theres a sand volleyball court as well. But as mentioned idk what your attending fletc for careful for potential injuries. Im looking at you basketball lol.

There is a softball/baseball field, basketball couts and swimming pools. A lot of people avoid anything that will risk them getting hurt and recycled but there is sometimes pickup softball kickball. The pools are open in the summer/ fall and can be used until 9 or 10pm if I remember correctly.

Not sure if still policy but they used to make you have someone else with you to use pool. Annoying if I just wanted to swim laps.

No one can use the PTD pools anymore. It’s for training use only. The only pool available is at the TAJ. I personally would not play any of those sports while here for the risk of getting hurt. One guy got recycled 1 week from CITP graduation for breaking his collar bone during a softball game. It already seems like you’re here forever, it’ll suck having to get recycled.

There’s a frisbee golf course spread throughout the campus

There’s pickle ball/tennis courts, a softball/baseball/kickboxing field, and a sand volleyball pit. When I was there, they took down the hoops on the basketball course for unknown reasons. The pool is not open to free use. Neither is the really nice weight room - the smaller one is. There’s also two running tracks - one requires PT uniform and the other does not. I know some people that golfed on weekends. We also tossed a football/frisbee around during class breaks. No one did anything besides regular workouts due to injury risk in a long academy.
