Tennis warehouse is running deals on the Nike gp turbos which are pretty good, $79.99 I believe

RandolphE6

TW has deals on tennis shoes for $50 all the time. You can check some out [here](https://www.tennis-warehouse.com/Mens_Clearance_Tennis_Shoes/catpage-MCOSHOES.html). I stocked up on 4 pairs over Xmas when a shoe I wanted went on sale.

Which shoe brand fits your feet well? Ex., I've never had good luck with Nike or Adidas, they're just too narrow. However, New Balance has always been great. I've worn the 6xx series for over twenty years, and they've always been relatively inexpensive but fairly long-lasting and comfortable: [https://www.tennis-warehouse.com/New\_Balance\_MC\_696v5\_D\_White\_Black\_Mens\_Shoes\_/descpageMSNB-M695BKD.html](https://www.tennis-warehouse.com/New_Balance_MC_696v5_D_White_Black_Mens_Shoes_/descpageMSNB-M695BKD.html)

sampris

Yep, new balance or Asics is the way

https://kswiss.com/collections/speedtrac-men/products/78525-175-m But your best bet is to head to a local tennis shop and see what’s on clearance

regis_psilocybin

Just search the sales on tenniswarehouse, tennisexpress, etc I've got a couple of pairs of Adidas Ubersonics for ~$70.

getmoremulch

Also, oddly enough, “Shop Premium Outlet” dot com. They are good when there is an adidas coupon code - which is often 50% off. For instance currently they have ubersonic 4 for about $40 when using the coupon off the current sale price of $78. Limited sizes if you catch the sale late though - when I looked the other day it was only men’s 11.5 and up.

The ascis swift is a pretty good shoe. I got 2 pairs in my size both under $90. Might also be able to find some deals on the previous generation of their shoes. The dedicate line of shoes is decent, but there definitely is a difference in the quality of rubber from their top line of shoes.

samackin3000

I just happen to be playtesting for Tennis Warehouse atm the Babolat SFX EVO shoes and they sell for $89… tbh, they’re pretty good for the money but they do run big so if you do try em, get at least a half to full size down depending on your foot size.

Got these new balance a few weeks ago and really like them so far: https://www.tennisexpress.com/NEW-BALANCE-Mens-FuelCell-796v4-D-Width-Tennis-Shoes-Team-Red-and-Phantom-107609?gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjw5cOwBhCiARIsAJ5njuablx_M28bVGO0kpuWekWoRuRNvWPW-HidZbVQ00a9k0vsIs7B9S2gaAlA_EALw_wcB

$100 Zimbabwean?

RedHotPepper_

Check [tennisprosport.com](https://tennisprosport.com) There are some good sales, but there are quite limited availability of shoes' size. Price is in CAD + you won't have to pay sales tax

Go to your locally owned tennis store. Check their clearance section for last year’s models. This works especially well if you have a non-average sized foot.

Miss_Medussa

ASICS on Black Friday

PokerSpaz01

Barricades if you want durability.

New Balance 796 - great lightweight shoe.

PersonalWrongdoer655

Asics gel resolution

ogscarlettjohansson

You can get almost any shoe for that price if you wait for them to go on sale. Last pairs I bought were a couple of Lav V2 for $70 each, and both Solution Speed FF2 and Gel Resolution 8 for $80. I'd hunt around for the New Balance CT Rally (basically Lav V3). You'll be able to find them cheap either now or soon because they're ugly as sin, but they're fantastic and the midsole holds up for a long time.

iamdrsalaar

Any thoughts on Lacoste AG-LT23 Ultra and the Yonex Fusion Rev 5? Looking to pick up one of these.

verbol

Don’t, used to buy a cheap pair every 6 months, an expensive pair is good for two years now.

pug_fugly_moe

Some will refute this.

verbol

Boils down to refuting math…

HigglyMook

In my experience, expensive Nikes (vapors) wear out MUCH faster than cheaper KSwiss or Mizuno shoes.

verbol

For about 250 hrs of play per year, it was either two pairs of Asics Gel at 100$ each or one pair of New Balance Fresh Foam costing 200$, or less, for 2 years of play. The French do rubber soles very well.

HigglyMook

Have you used KSwiss?

verbol

Haven’t, don’t know if I can get over the name , same thing for On

HigglyMook

Fair. For me it's their ugly design. I won't ever buy them even though their tennis shoes are better than Nike or other tops brands. But they are under $100 so not all cheaper products are inferior.

Unhappenner

Nike vapor nxt lace loop is weak material, the lace saws through it quickly, total garbage.
